Implementasi Manajemen Mutu dalam Pembelajaran Al-Qur’an Berbasis Metode Ummi di SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri Kota Magelang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of quality management in Qur’an learning using the Ummi method at SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri, Magelang City. This research is motivated by the importance of implementation evaluation in reminding the quality of Qur’an learning to ensure optimal learning outcomes. Quality management in the Ummi method is one of the systematic management systems for learning the Qur’an. This study uses descriptive research with data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation involving the principal, the Qur’an coordinator, and the Qur’an teacher. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Ummi method of quality management at SMPIT Ihsanul Fikri, Magelang City has been carried out in a structured manner in the management aspects of learning the Qur’an. In the quality management system of the Ummi method, which has ten pillars, as a whole has been applied in all processes of learning activities of the Qur’an. However, based on the results of the research obtained, there are obstacles to the completeness of students in completing learning targets according to the planned time period. This is due to the lack of time in learning for students who need intensive guidance and is also related to the initial input received from the previous school level.
